Artexpo New York 2014
In continuation of Mojdeh Art Gallery's international presence and activities in international forums in 2014, the works of four of the gallery's artists went to the New York Art Expo and were displayed. These four artists belonged to three different generations: Manouchehr Niazi among the pioneers of modern Iranian art, Arman Stepanian among the artists who use different visual media (photos, paintings) in parallel and use the possibilities of each media in other media (and Belonging to the modern and contemporary generation) and then Mehdi Nabavi and Shiva Eini among the young artists and in the process of establishing themselves in the contemporary art scene of Iran.
Manouchehr Niazi participated with three works from the collection of Masuleh, Tree and Crowd, which are in the continuation of Niazi's visual process: in fact, Niazi's look at the way of life of contemporary man in paying attention to the other and his appearance and presence attracted the attention of many audiences. It should be mentioned that Niazi has lived in America for many years and therefore the American audience is somewhat familiar with his methods.
Arman Stepanian was also present in this art fair with four staged photos, all four photos were closely related to Stepanian's thoughts about the presence of women in contemporary Iranian life.
Mehdi Nabavi, who has gone through various exhibition activities and is considered one of the established contemporary artists of Iran, was present with volumes of mirrors, which is considered an innovation in the combination of Iranian mirror art and modern and contemporary art.
Shiva Eini, a young artist participating in this art fair, has addressed the issue of women's presence in contemporary Iranian discourse using acrylic and plaster on canvas, just like Stepanian.
