Time is the time of being without dreams special in our "geography" and "time".
If you don't have a "dream" you don't have "hope", if you don't have "hope" you won't be "seen" and you won't be "counted".
The first person who doesn't see you and doesn't consider you is "yourself".
Then you slowly start to die. You see everything as enemies and everyone as an obstacle to the realization of your suppressed creativity.
A slow and gradual death in the bed of regrets and lost dreams.
This call, which was formed with the sympathy of a few of my dear friends, my completely personal expenses and the unhesitating support of Mojdeh Art Gallery, was an attempt to keep this hope alive, that after it, a dream would sprout in the minds of each and every calligrapher and young artist of my motherland.
Although this call brought me a heavy cost in terms of credibility (and this is a natural thing in underdeveloped countries like Iran), I am pleased that I was not disappointed in front of my conscience in the test of justice and intention (of course, within the scope of my thinking), and I received countless messages about creating a passion in the heart to contribute as much as possible in the field of art.
If there has been disappointment for my precious artist colleagues who were not selected by the honorable jury, I apologize and I consider it part of the nature of the competition and I hope that this call will be a candle that will light the torch of hard work and perseverance in the hearts and minds of these artists.
And finally, I have full respect for:
- Mojdeh Art Gallery with its lovely team and its generous manager Mrs. Mojdeh Tabatabaei
- The respected panel of judges who did not hesitate to advise and spend time and interest.
- All the participants of the call, especially the friends who gave me the honor of hosting with their presence in the call, despite their fame and support.
- Friends who are famous in this field, but they sincerely helped to republish the call, and pioneers who became prophets of encouragement even with one message.
The rest, for the honor of dear Iran and the continuation of your health and lack of need from God's people
Mohammad Bozorgi
