Geometry of Senses
Geometry of Senses is the title of Ramin Shahvagh's second solo exhibition at Mojdeh Art Gallery.
The abstract motifs of the "Geometry of Senses" series, on the one hand, demonstrate meticulous composition, creating a kind of labyrinthine structure within the artwork. On the other hand, by moving towards abstraction in the composition, they offer a kind of instantaneous and momentary perception. The "Geometry of Senses" series is a translation of the artist's lived and experienced time: the abstract motifs, without any empty spaces in the paintings, act as a slice of experienced timelessness and placelessness, rendered spatial on the picture plane. Shahvagh transcends the representation or depiction of perceptible perception, moving towards a space where the perceptible becomes an instantaneous intuition and approach.
