Chaotic Circuit
Nariman Granmayeh's exhibition named Chaotic Circuit was held in January 2019 with ten works on canvas and the technique of mixed materials. The statement of the exhibition was related to the concept of the other and its presence in today's life. A presence that although is parallel to us (me), yet sometimes this presence causes confusion and creates intersecting lines, because the perception does not reach a common point and the perceptions pass each other. The color ranges used in Geranmayeh’s exhibition were a combination of warm colors such as red, orange and yellow, as well as cold colors which varied to black. As its name implies, this exhibition is a combination of tangled lines, and perhaps these complications show the confusion of contemporary life. It should be mentioned that the combination of forms, creating an abstract texture and the overall aesthetic and piece-like formation are the main formal characteristics of Nariman Granmayeh's artworks, especially in the Chaotic Circuit collection. We are seen by the other and we see him, we understand him and he also tries to understand us, so the other is our existence and being with the otherness it forms the nature and existence of the temporal and spatial subject. But each one of us has a different understanding and reception of the outside and the other through our experiences, and these perceptions sometimes cause meaning and recognition to be suspended in our connection with each other, and this suspension itself becomes the basis for the occurrence of differences and breaches in our continuous circuits. This break causes the suspension of knowing and communicating with the other and even breaking from him and creating chaotic circuits.
