Eternal Alphabet Series

Eternal Alphabet Series

The collection of the Eternal Alphabet of Mohammad Ehsaei started in approximately 1975 and is accompanied by the repetition of holy letters to form the word in different forms. By repeating holy words such as Allah and La Ilaha Illallah, and through this repetition, he reached a mystical expression. This mystical meaning, which was rooted in the ancient mystical literature of Iran, places the word in a fundamental position for understanding. It should be mentioned that in most of the works of this period, Ehsaei has placed the word as a semantic unit, and the colorful backgrounds of this category of works were mostly dark in the seventies and eighties, and in the following years, they were colored with a mixture of warm colors on a black background. Seyyed Mohammad Ehsaei’s attention to the space between the letters and the construction of an aesthetic whole with a coherent framework is very important in this collection.
