Mask Series

The subject or content of the “Masks” collection, which is characterized by its use of paper and cardboard to create volumetric forms and shapes, is based on the principle of metamorphosis. The masks in Sahabi’s work are like personal identification photographs where time has stopped. He says about this, “The idea was that even those four similar photographs are not identical. Rather the passage of time is noticeable in them, and this means that time and human beings are both variable.”
