Babak Kazemi

Babak Kazemi

Babak Kazemi was born in Ahvaz in 1983 and completed his studies in the field of graphics. In the same city, he carried out his first photography experiences, and his first solo exhibition was also there. Babak Kazemi, since the mid-2000s and by coming to Tehran, has experienced new experiences in the field of digital, analog photography and experimental prints. Experiences that, although each one is a testament to his experimental look, at the same time, over time, have a specific course of his view of society. Kazemi has had solo exhibitions in galleries such as the Silk Road, Homa and AG, and has also participated in several Paris Photo Fairs. It is said that he himself praised Sadegh Tirafkan's honest look in photography and from this perspective and with a different look at love, society and nature. Babak Kazemi also has a famous collection with Arabic gum in the field of printing, which, influenced by photography, is both a study in the medium of photography and printing, and shows his crossing of media and inter-media expressive boundaries.
