Farnaz Rezaei

Farnaz Rezaei, born in 1985, holds a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. She has held a solo exhibition at Mojdeh Art Gallery and has participated in several group exhibitions. Rezaei's artistic expression involves the use of various lines, stripped of their linear characteristics, to achieve a kind of written syntax in painting. It seems that for Rezaei, writing has been stripped from its written form, and writing is placed at the disposal of painting as a visual and aesthetic element. Farnaz Rezaei places the aforementioned writings on a background of paintings of nature and landscapes, moving towards a new kind of expression that combines writing and painting. The technique she uses most is acrylic and mixed media on canvas, which in this way can also create a kind of volume on the painting. This factor is important in accelerating the meaning of the writing and contributes to the dynamism of the connection between writing and painting.
