Mohsen Karami
Mohsen Karami was born in 1985 in Amol. He has a master's degree in graphics and is currently a doctoral student in Islamic arts at Tarbiat Modares University in Tehran. By mastering the art of the Islamic era, modern and contemporary art of Iran and the world, as well as being familiar with Iranian wisdom and philosophy derived from Zoroastrianism literature, Karami was able to obtain a personal expression in calligraphy, and this has made him present thoughtful works in every individual and group exhibition in such a way that his audience, during his years of activity, find a new strain of interest in Iranian literature and art in every exhibition. Apart from his academic and research activities, Karami has also been active in art teaching for many years and has trained many students. His constant preoccupation with Suhrawardi’s wisdom and mystical and philosophical thought, ancient Iranian literature, motifs and lines of Mithraeums has made every exhibition of his, except for one show, become a project that includes academic research, essays and statements. His scientific-research articles are proof of his project-oriented view in the field of art. It should be mentioned that he was also a member of the Calligraphers Association and has mastered calligraphy in the classical style, and based on this mastery, he was able to reach his personal expression of calligraphy.
